Well I don't think I made the cut! They had some footage on the A3 in about the right place, but not quite. The first bit on the A3 was filmed about 1/2 mile before I caught up with them (you see them pass a B&Q logo which is right by my house) and then the next bit was long after I'd passed them. I wanted to hang back a bit and follow them but the small children I was ferrying at the time were eager to get to a birthday party and didn't like my idea of lurking to try to get on TV!
I was, so I'm told, on Top Gear about 15 years ago though. They filmed at my university and I walked past in the background. I didn't see the cameras at the time, nor did I happen to catch the episode when it was on, but apparently there I was. Jeremy never thanked me for my appearance though - ungrateful bugger!
Cheers,
Ben.
PS I laughed out loud a number of times at last nights episode. It's still the only thing on TV which is that funny to me. The fact that it's all car related is just an added bonus for me.
