Fav bits...........

The Bentley Spitfire.........Vs the Heinkel Brutus........really....really enjoyed that

The guys getting drown like rats...................

The craziness of the 3 track cars.......

Even the Blur guy was good.......

I'm giving them 9/10.......when it could have been 3/10!

I searched hard but couldn't see halbe01.
The prog was entertaining but I would have liked to have heard more about push rod suspension.
The Morgan surprised me on its capabilities.

It's a pity Chris Williams wasn't there with Mavis or the Bentley Napier; that guy is crazy but great to watch. I quite enjoyed tonights show as well. Good effort.

Yet again, the talent in the background outshines the subject matter. Do they get them plastered first so they laugh that hard at the lame jokes ??

If I won the lottery I would have that Bentley on order in a heartbeat. Fabulous. Would be more of a challenge if supercharged.

I just had to smile at these three plonkers driving around in the pouring rain and no protection whatsoever. The girls at the back of Hammond and Captain slow were quite nice. The Bentley was a class act as usual.

It was funny!
Is a car show meant to be funny?? Yes but with some car reviews. .....

Suppose Dem it's moved away from being a car show llke the old days...informative.... and turned into more of an entertainment show....Bit of both I suppose...................I really enjoyed the track day bit...It was funny ...Strange choice from Hammond as a track car though.....There was one car missing..Lotus 2-11....Best of all three there....

Well I don't think I made the cut! They had some footage on the A3 in about the right place, but not quite. The first bit on the A3 was filmed about 1/2 mile before I caught up with them (you see them pass a B&Q logo which is right by my house) and then the next bit was long after I'd passed them. I wanted to hang back a bit and follow them but the small children I was ferrying at the time were eager to get to a birthday party and didn't like my idea of lurking to try to get on TV!

I was, so I'm told, on Top Gear about 15 years ago though. They filmed at my university and I walked past in the background. I didn't see the cameras at the time, nor did I happen to catch the episode when it was on, but apparently there I was. Jeremy never thanked me for my appearance though - ungrateful bugger!

Cheers,
Ben.

PS I laughed out loud a number of times at last nights episode. It's still the only thing on TV which is that funny to me. The fact that it's all car related is just an added bonus for me.

I did look out for you Ben, in fact I told my wife to watch carefully for the Maser, but no show. I was surprised one of them did not come in an Atom.

Enjoyed tonites....

Slash doing his bit at the end.........as ever with our USA cousins......not keen on bends......;)

Motorcross was magic......

The petrified look on Mays face as he pulled out of the junction in Evans's GTO...priceless..........................ok it was £5.6 million....

Raikkonen.......was a typical Finn.......................making dourness looking as if it drug induced....

End of series..................hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....better than the last one....

Enjoyed tonight's show but I'm not convinced it was a great series. Maybe they should just sick to the 90 minute 'specials' now ?
