And if you have a thing for steering wheels- there is about 3,000 pounds worth of carbon and Alcantara - one flat bottomed carbon import and a brand new facelift version in the boot!

Forgive my ignorance but what does a facelift wheel look like?

Iain, is yours the one with red badges by any chance? If so I did give it a look over before I took the test drive. Really beautiful car

Hi matt- no it's not there yet.
There is nothing like it in stock at the moment.
There are some photos of the facelift wheel and new carbon wheel in another thread- unfortunately on my phone at the moment so can't append although if you do a forum search for 'facelift wheel' you should find it. Worth a read.
If only for Phil's sarcasm :)

Fantastic spec. I was pushing it (at home) to commit to the other given I started the discussion with a budget of £14,000...

Wow! That would get a nice fiesta.
I started at 25 but ended up at 50- so your man maths even surpassed mine!

My original budget was to buy an S2 Lotus Elise...

Then someone suggested a 4200 and things spiralled from there. Good outcome though

To be fair, there was a fairly significant change in financial circumstances from when I set the initial budget to today

Yeah thanks I just found the thread. Your carbon wheel looks amazing.

I'm after ideas for the retrim on mine. I'm keen on alcantara on the "grips" as you have on your carbon wheel but conscious that all alcantara could look a bit "Sparco"

I'm getting invalid attachments.

I'd love a carbon wheel, but what I want *right now* is bigger paddles.

The options seem limited though

I was thinking like the Ferrari wheel but with the airbag left leather and the top and bottom sections in leather to match

That Fezza wheel is horrible. Too much alcatara and in the wrong places. Looks like a kids toy wheel and cheap. Although we all know you would need to sell a kidney (or kid!) to buy one.

Maser one is spot on. Another case of underrated Maser better than show off Fezza

I can't stand flat bottomed wheels & don't see the point. I had one in my TT & hated it.

Actually what is the point of a flat bottomed wheel?

See your point on the Ferrari - yesterday I sat in a mate's FF, first time I've seen one up close, and the whole cockpit to me screamed "video game".

****- I am giving a lecture in the USA on the 29th Typical- would have been ideal.
I think you are right- it's important to enjoy these cars with like minded individuals

Too bad you'll miss it, maybe try to come another time and bring whatever you are driving next.
Good luck with the sale and the next purchase
