Yesterday to travel from my home to Canary Wharf and back home again, a grand total of 20 miles took more than a half tank of fuel. Mind you the return journey took 2 hours grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

UM...today...I did a round trip of 24 odd mile across country roads....and ended up in a foreign country.................the RoI............

Cheap petrol........did the business.........dry roads.........zipping up and down 3-5th.........fabulous.........

Our cheapest local NI price £1.38 a litre........£1.29 across border......used to be 30p difference

I'll show my age here, but when I was working for Tesco in their petrol station while at Uni, it was 35-38p a litre. I remember filling my car up for £20.

1/2 tank the for 20 miles....thats madness! Mind, I'm pretty certain my fuel gauge isnt as linear as it could be!
