The lib Dems are always the 'go to' party for bye elections. Conservatives are corrupt, Labour are lacklustre. But Look at the results...I feel sorry for Yolande, only has 2 friends.

Tactical voting. LD were in the best position to win the seat so Labour voters voted for the LD candidate.

There have been various reports that Labour purposely ran a poor campaign in this byelection hoping that their supporters voted LimpDem instead in order to oust the Tories.

I’m not condoning any of Boris’s behaviour of recent times, but before his fellow Tory MP’s demand a new leadership contest, they need to be careful what they wish for. Before he called a General Election, the Tories under May were a zombie party with no Majority and unable to get anything done.

If I got 80 odd new clients 2 years ago and a couple had moved to a different lawyer since then, any law firm would be delighted I had kept 78 new clients!
