what are everyone elses thoughts on this ?
I actually really like it and base price around 60k usd.....

Lovely! Lot less power than the outgoing car though. Which is a bit strange.

I like it however it seems that the mid-engine configuration forces all designers to produce similar looking cars these days. I see a bit of NSX, a bit of 488, some Lotus. I don't see what is obviously a Corvette and that could be dangerous for their US customer base.

There's no mention in any press release of any turbo chargers. Which can only be a good thing.
Which will also mean it will sound awesome!

But will it sound as good as the the Le Mans cars?
6.2 V8, shortened exhaust length, I imagine so!

Please Chevrolet, can you sell it in the UK????

I think it looks brilliant, add it to the list of Mustang and Alpine as the only new cars I’d consider buying. I reckon they’ve knocked it out of the park. Corvette was going the way of Cadillac with no one under 50 buying them in the States, this I reckon will change all that.

Too angular and looks old fashion already but you cant deny with that engine and mid mount, it will be a big step forward for our American cousins.

It's about time. I think Chevvy are missing an opportunity with allowing ford to dominate the market in the UK...

That said you could buy a RHD dodge challenger but I hardly see any on the road especially compared to the mustang which is quite common now

It looks exotic, will be RHD, probably easy to live with and maintain, has a naturally aspirated V8 with 500HP and modern(ish) tech. If they can keep it close to £75k it will be a hit. I can't think of a single new car that it would directly compete with.
