Morning all on this pea soup day - and it's market day in the nearest (about 5 miles away) small town - that's something that needs checking out, (much to MrRR's disapproval)

This is the "after" photo...building on the left on the other side of the tree...first floor of all of these were inundated. But behind the blue building, all you could see (at worst point) were the rooftops of some...but not all...of the galleries, studios, and shops along the river:

Blimey that’s horrific, so sorry your family have been affected personally, the whole community must be devastated. :(

Good morning, all...and thanks for all the kind words. Slowly digging out of everything...in addition to the areas significantly impacted, the storm wiped out isolated pockets and left others alone. Interesting case in point: our local utilities unaffected, but a neighboring town is under a water boil advisory. Girls go back to school today, albeit on a two-hour delay...and given the water advisory, one is on notice that the only water she will have all day is what she packs in...

It really is shocking to see what has happened in your area. The news just seems to get worse and it must affect everyone on all sorts of levels.

Good morning - and it's a moving on day for us to the A Coruna/Ferrol area - two hours the direct route, but four with my detours, although we may abandon them as its raining heavily and forecast to do so all day. Our hotel has won an architect design award - so that could be interesting.

Gooood morning, friends...and here's where "Mad Max" got it wrong, as it turns out. In a post-apocalyptic landscape, there are still all-day meetings...
Well, at least take comfort in that.

Actually, no, wait... it has gone mad, hasn't it? This is it. The final reckoning.

Let him who hath understanding reckon the dial-in code for the Teams meeting.
