Morning everyone!
A slow one for me so far as I decided to not work today or on Monday because of my birthday.
Final preps for my party that's tomorrow evening.
Probably about to do something sensible like cycle into town for a haircut. I'll wear my helmet in case a tree falls on me.
Hoping to share a rather nice cheese and bubbly box this evening, that the bank sent me for Valentine's day. 2 bottles of bubbles and ~600g of various fancy brie-style cheeses. This can only end well.
HapPea Friday! xXx

Morning all. WFH today as that's what the powers that be have advised for my coastal part of Kent.

The Environment Agency has also advised that we are at risk from flood due to the storm surge. Which is nice.
But as we're 3-400 metres from the sea we should be ok, especially as we're on the down hill part if water does reach us.
If it does, hopefully it will just go straight past!

Stay Safe all.

Morning all. What a difference a day makes. Not a breath of wind in the air this morning.
Bit of a frost on the cars though.

Off to my parents in Essex this morning, hopefully there will be no issues on the bridge later, or indeed the tunnel this morning.

Morning all, some damage here but nothing too serious. I will either be rebuilding my kayak lift on the van to cope with the new boat or doing the fence repair I should have done yesterday.

Have fun all…

Morning, all. Well, that was blowy! Part of a fence has buggered off but I’m not overly worried. It was a bit knackered anyway. Good news from the cardioquack yesterday. The mechanics of the old pumper are tip-top, just the relay’s a bit knackered and needs some attention. No impact on daily stuff. Carry on. All good. So I shall.

Morning all sorry a bit late - got into jobs early

Everything that should be in the garden still is and nothing new arrived although we had about 5 hours with no power yesterday and it tripped a couple of time this morning too - joys country living
