Just received this email from Sytner Nottingham who are clearing out their demonstrator fleet, some fairly good prices.

Good prices but I'd never buy an ex demo. car
In my experience they've been thrashed hard!!

Strangely I prefer knowing that a car has been thrashed, they usually produce more power than those that have had a relaxed life.

And consumables are just that, consumable so always easy to replace.

BTW love the colour of yours, looks amazing!

Yes, a great day, lot's of friends, able to drive flat out all day if you want, it really proves what these cars are capable of and the paying punters love it..!! All for a good cause and the smiles you get are a great reward..!!

Once had a BMW 330Ci ex demo vehicle and it went through oil like it was going out of fashion, I know I can give my car a thrash but only when it's properly warmed up etc. where as you get some numpty who doesn't care and thrashes it from cold doesn't help the wear on the vehicle at all. I've never been afraid of hi milers but defo stick away from ex demo now.

Thanks for the comment on the colour, bought it blind and wasn't sure until I saw it. Looked at many black and grey and in the end wanted either a red or the same colour as yours. Think both really suit the GT, that's not to say all colours are not lovely just red and white set things off beautiully IMHO
