Watched Brawn on Disney over Christmas not the greatest but it did remind me of that 2009 season, also watched Lucky (not great) about Bernie, I had forgotten that he always was a shister

Indeed. I did the podcast and was very shouty

Just heard on it news there was a deadline from the government for paying compensation 31/12/23, nothing of substance paid yet

Over 60 affected people have died, I really hope the compensation didn't die with them, their families suffered too

Agreed - I can’t watch it as it would make me too angry - has done for many years since I heard of it. As I recall, the further disgrace is that their CEO at the time (don’t want to recall her name) went onto bigger and better jobs. Let’s hope they get their comeuppance soon - doubt it but i live in hope.

Wife and I have got out of watching much TV in recent years especially series we have found them all slow and hard going but we have decided to make a conscious effort to try again so some of the suggestions on here will be a good starting point. It's a pity we don't get iPlayer here, well not unless we mess around with a laptop and VPNs so we will start on the Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Disney recommendations first.

Snowfall ( on iplayer is brilliant, based during Reagan‘s presidency it’s about the relationship between the CIA / Contras / Drug dealer empire & its 6 series long )

i see that b1tch has finally agreed to hand back the CBE, presumably to avoid the embarrassment of having it taken away
I doubt they'd take it away unless she received a criminal conviction

Two fujitsu employees are being investigated for perjury, whether any post office staff ever get charged, who knows

It's making me angry, they've chosen the actors well and the storyline seems to fit what was said in the BBC podcast.

As far as post office management prosecutions goes it all smacks of friends in high places, i'd imagine they're hating this, a few newspaper stories, a BBC podcast, I doubt many people were even aware this happened but a major drama on ITV , everyone will know by today
I will watch the ITV post office shows, once it appears that justice is being served.
Used to know a postmaster years back so heard bits of news, also Private had had *all* the details wayyyy back. <beyond belief>

Back on TV - we are 3 episodes into Fool Me Once, only stopped when the fire went out. Can I see the holes in the plot, or am I still ****** off about the P.O above?
For gentle background I am on Top Gear series 2. Did they really have 3 bikini clad women? FFS
