I've started After Life from the beginning as lynne hasn't watched it, picking up things I missed the first time, like the headline in that weeks edition of the paper he works for stuck to the office door, teen sold out of date pie

Netflix

Extraction was OK , extras must be free in india

I’m sure it must have been mentioned earlier in the thread but Netflix F1: The Drive to Survive, brings F1 to life even for the uninitiated

Just finished Season 1 of After Life. Was darkly funny throughout, as expected, and the rise of hope in the last episode means we are likely to continue to Season 2.

A.J.P Taylor Warlord lectures which have been on BBC 2 in the afternoon. Talking head format but incredibly informative.

Four films we all loved this week on Amazon Prime/BBC/Netflix

  • The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared
  • Blinded by the light
  • The Damned United
  • Frost/Nixon

'Trying' on Apple TV+, actually funny, about adoption.

A mate recommended 'Code 404' on Sky. Don't bother it's total garbage.

bugger that for a laugh, reminded me of the eiger sanction with clint Eastwood many moons ago

Thing is I bet most of the deaths are because they have to reach the summit , once in a lifetime trip , telling all your friends you paid $69k and nearly got to the top.

Re-watching Shackleton, epic, and the story doesn't cover half the drama that really happened. Epic, bloody epic.

Bangs on about British this and British that a bit though, ignoring the fact that Shackleton was Irish....

Gomorrah, Gomorrah, Gomorrah... There I’ve said it 3 times.
Shamelessly mentioning this again, I know I mentioned it in the big list before, but Jesus....
Rewatching it all again now from the beginning. Absolutely mesmerising. I’ve decided it’s the greatest TV show of all time. Makes The Sopranos look like The Waltons.
Watch now on Sky / HBO, your life will be poorer if you don’t.
