Just watching the Great British spitfire restoration on C4

Restoring a spitfire is expensive , he's just gone to buy a pair of undercarriage legs in red primer , £15,000

£150,000 for a new propellor

When you see the work that goes into building a spitfire in the 21st century it's amazing they churned them out at speed under war conditions 80 years ago

was a very good watch, he was switched on, bought a spitfire as a wreck for £12,000 and rebuilt it, must be worth a few pennies now, not sure i liked the look of the reduced wing tips on the greek spitfire

Watched the Battered B@stards of Baseball... yes I know it's an American sport but it's a documetary of an Independent team in the late 70's set up by Kurt Russells dad , Bing, who was the Sheriff in Bonanza. It's got some foul language in it, so not for those sesntive types like @Wattie

Anyhoo, it's a good lesson to what could happen to World football is the Euopean Super League was allowed to go ahead.
