Stradale to a 458/F12?

To be fair that is probably the only real option, it would have to be a V12
V12, NA, all-carbon body, one of the most beautiful cars ever made, sublime, classy and sounds incredible. Not much to not love in that bundle. Plus, I know a great freelance AM tech near you, then Phoenix in Basingstoke has a good reputation, Nicholas Mee, DAE, Bamford Rose in my experience is great but experiences vary. It's an easier service network than Maserati.

How does the Vantage V12 compare to the Vanquish?

How does the Vantage V12 compare to the Vanquish?
A bit like how a Gransport compares to a GranTurismo

Vanquish is a sublime GT tourer with ZF Auto. Vantage a sublime sports car with automated manual (or conventional manual). Vanquish is more grown up and with a better and more modern interior though both models can be retrofitted with AMi III infotainment which is superb. A drive of both would be required. Short term test drive I reckon most would choose Vantage. Have one for the weekend then Vanquish. No wrong answer.

I am very lucky to own GS MC-V, GT MC-Stradale and Vanquish 8-Speed. I no longer own a Vantage but it is a great car. I would let both Maseratis go ahead of the Vanquish.

How does the Vantage V12 compare to the Vanquish?
Short-range tactical nuke vs intercontinental ballistic missile.

The Vantage is smaller and squirtier, the Vanquish more of a long-range cruiser that will quite happily show a clean pair of heals to most things if it feels the need.

A friend of mine has a Vanquish S Ultimate, been lucky enough to drive it several times and I have to say it’s an amazing car. It sounds incredible and performance is brutal! Having said that I loved his 2011 DBS too! Still loving my GranTurismo though and as I have two young boys we can all go out together. All lovely cars. I’d also love a 458 one day!

F458 is probably the only modern Ferrari I’d go for now. F430 was another consideration but they are getting a bit long in the tooth. Great car though.

I went to view a 458 which was the closest to me and it sounded/looked great but couldn't drive it as it was getting some work done. It looks like it may take a bit of time to find my ideal spec car.

Shame I didnt see this Vantage before:
Great spec V12 Vantage though with a slightly strange history in terms of some of the replacement parts. Made good money considering at auction though.

Strad booked for annual service with AV Engineering and a full detail & ceramic coating so plan to use it a bit more. The 458 is a great car but I prefer the gated manual on the LP560. In the meantime I think one of the 911 will go for a 360/599? Time to test a few more cars!

I have gone from a Maserati GT to a F12 totally, totally different car and huge step up. I bought mine before it hit the open market, took over two years of searching and networking to find the very unique and highly spec'd one where the first owner just said I want everything. Sold the GT in oct 22 so had nothing Italian in the garage for two years!

A mate sold his S, and bought a 458 and never looked back. Another bought a 360 and regretted it. Eventally sold it for a big loss. Again he had an S.

Loved my 2004 360 Modena F1 but it was over 10 years ago now.
It might not be the same experience today I feel.

IMHO the laundry basket spoils the Roma, but I could live with it on this:

The Roma is the only Ferrari I like these days. Lovely design and that is a lovely colourway. They also have a yellow one as well. I see these start around 135k these days.
