So, thanks to John for plugging her into diagnostics. Once we'd worked out how to access the port that is !! It turns out that the panel below the wheel is hinged and pulls down after some persuasion.

No error codes found whatsoever and clutch at 26% so the battery is still favourite. I'll get a new one and see what happens...

One does have to be quite firm with it, doesn't one

The reading is based on an algorithm and it's so inaccurate it's not true.

I took John for a wee blast in the Strad up the Drymen Road. I think he enjoyed it. Ask him.

Clutch readings are rubbish however it's low enough for me to be able to rule out that as the issue. Battery will be ordered tomorrow, fingers crossed that's the issue.
