Hi folks, just wondering if there is a specific bedding in procedure after fitting new brakes on the stradale ? Any do's and don'ts that I should be aware of ?
Thanks in advance

Give the expense of the replacement carbon discs and pads, I imagine the labour cost of using a specialist is marginal and well worth the money.
Good luck !

There is, something like 10 stops at 50% pedal pressure from something stupid like 100 mph. Basically, get them really, really hot.

Standard pad and disc running-in cycle.
•Following each pad and disc replacement, the same must be run-in.
•Accelerate the vehicle until reaching a speed of 80 km/h
•Brake the vehicle, from 80 km/h to 20 km/h, with a deceleration of approx. 0.3g
(approx. 6 sec.)
• Repeat the above mentioned running-in cycle 5 times.
(approximately 6 seconds)
• Accelerate the vehicle until reaching a speed of 130 km/h.
• Brake the vehicle, from 130 km/h to 20 km/h, with a deceleration of approx. 0.5g
• Repeat the above mentioned running-in cycle 14 times. Running this cycle
guarantees proper functioning of the CCM system like for a new vehicle.

• Repeat the above mentioned running-in cycle 15 times.
• Accelerate the vehicle until reaching a speed of 130 km/h
• Brake the vehicle, from 130 km/h to 30 km/h, with a deceleration of approx. 0.7g
which corresponds to a maximum time of approximately 4.0 sec.
• Cool down the system by driving 4 minutes at 80 km/h
• Repeat the above mentioned running-in cycle 9 times.
• Accelerate the vehicle until reaching a speed of 200 km/h
Braking system
• Brake the vehicle, from 200 km/h to 30 km/h, with a deceleration of
approximately 1.1g (ABS), which corresponds to a
maximum time of approximately 4.4 sec.
• Cool down the system by driving 5 minutes at 80 km/h
• Repeat the above mentioned running-in cycle 3 times .
