FYI, my Strad finally went through our workshop and had a full service, new front carbon pads (ouch!) and upper front suspension bushes and a full 'Ashley' alignment.
Whilst we were doing the front bushes, Ashley pointed out that you can use the better rear bush in the front position too. The front bush is the one that tears easily and the rear bush is of a more sturdy type.
The weak front bush has an indicator that lines up, if the arrow do not align, it means the bush inside is torn. Even new, there is loads of wobble in it.
So, I became guinea pig and am running the rear bush in both positions.
The difference is astonishing. The high speed turn in is flat with no nervousness and it drives like a different animal.
I can't tell you if this is the bush mod, the alignment or a combination of both but I am extremely happy with how well it handles.
Obviously, we can't do this mod to customer cars as its non standard unless its specifically instructed and agreed that its a non standard modification.
