First of all I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
I know it`s a bit late but It`s been non stop at work for me over the festive period this year, however I did manage a spark plug change on the 4200 today.
The weather was bright and sunny although a bit on the chilly side, but as it was my much needed day off I set to work.
I purchased a set of 8 Denso IU24 Plugs from Car Parts 4 Less, including delivery they were £77.99 which I think was a great deal.
After worrying how difficult a job it would be, and if I broke something (always expensive on a Maserati) I found it a very enjoyable and easy job, if a little time consuming !
The old plugs that came out were NGK PMR8B so I am glad they were changed out to the Denso IU24 as i believe these are the recommended plugs ?
I was amazed at how small the Spark Plugs are for this engine.
So if you are a bit wary of a DIY plug change, as long as you have the basic tools and some spare time give it a go
