Spare tyre options

wondering what you guys do for a spare tyre. Speaking to Maserati its a very expensive option and most go with the pressure and sealant method. I am okay with that in the UK but if you take the car abroad or rural areas would a complete spare tyre be better?

anyone made their own kit up ????

does anyone know the tyre size and stud pattern for a spare on the Maserati QP V GTS 4.7

Can't imagine there is any difference. Both are spacesavers which barely fit in the boot!

I have the Mitsubishi space saver in my 2006 QPV. I had it test fitted by Bill McGraths and they said it was safe to use. Front and rear. However, you need to buy wheel bolts specific to this fitting and, to make it fit in the boot, I've had to remove the boot well trim and cover. The wheel fits, but, it stick up about an inch at the back seat end.

Having said that, you lose hardle any load space at all.

I'm grateful to have it in the boot. Gunk doesn't cover all flat tyre eventualities.

I know there has been a lot on this subject but if it fits the QP , does it fit the GS? One of our guys down here has fitted QP wheels to his GS so I suspect it would but interested to know for sure.
