Hi all,

An annoying little problem and one I'd rather keep the cost down on if possible.

I spotted one of window washer caps on the right headlight missing today, not sure if it's just a cap or fixed to the washing mechanism. Any thoughts on where to source the part and if it is a simple clip on job ?

Hi G, Not sure what car you have, but have you checked Eurospares? Both can be had for £20 for a 4200?

Yes quite simple for 4200. Eurpspares for parts. Halfords made me a decent paint (Grigio Alfieri). Easy enough to fit - I just pulled mechanism with fingers and sorted it but you could use needle now pliers.

This is a common problem on 4200s with xenons - has happened to me twice. A few thoughts:

-the covers are different LHS and RHS
-it might be just the cover but it could be the plastic clip behind it as well
-get someone to make the washers work and get hold of the washer when it comes out and have a look
-if you intend to use the headlamp washers at motorway speeds then get a few covers!
-they come unpainted.

Looks awful but is easy to fix!
