"Source" Button Not Working on Multi Media System

Hi all.
Has anyone experience of an issue where the 'source' button on the MMS on 09 GTS does nothing? The unit will not play CD's, although it does take them in and eject them ok. It's like the unit does not 'see' the CD player anymore. And like I said the 'source' button does not bring up a selection of sources onto the screen.

I though perhaps pulling the fuse and reinserting might help?

I have some hazy recollection that you can disable sources in the settings somewhere...but have scanned the manual and can't find it! It may have been another car

The radio plays ok. I haven't tried playing anything through the AUX input yet but will try that tomorrow.

My source button (2009 QP) sometimes responds instantly and sometimes with a lag of about 3 seconds. Sometimes it displays the source as it changes, sometimes not (maybe depending on whether Nav is set). Sometimes it skips the CD and I have to cycle round through Radio, Aux, etc to have another go.

I should probably add that this is a new issue. It used to play CD's no problem. The last time I played a CD was before I had to charge up the battery from a voltage low enough that the EPB would not release. Today is the first time since the low battery voltage that I have tried to play a CD.
So I'm wondering if thus may have had an effect on the multi media system.

+1 there is a function somewhere to switch sources off. Means that you tab through fewer things with the source button. I've switched off my aux source as it's useless at playing anything.

I have looked for that too & couldn't find it as I would disable the aux which I never use
