Apart from those Fisher Price front lights.........The Spyder addressed these....
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think the spyder lights make it look to ‘normal’
But hey if we were all the same the world would be a boring place.
Anyway back to trawling auto trader with a theoretical 30k budget....that’s my Friday night sorted!

The 4C was a joy to be in as a passenger for the Le Mans trip.

It may be flawed but isnt every car in some way. Do they need a little fettling to get the best out of them ? Sure but most Alfas do.

The 4C offers smiles per mile and a viable car that you can use in the week and drive to a track at week ends.

In a 5 car reasonable money virtual garage then i think the 4C would be in there.

Fabulous experience @ Le mans crofty. Thanks again.

Another one that should be in this list is the Jaguar F Type Coupe and convertible. The V6 starts around 20k now and even the V8 is edging towards 30k for early higher mile cars. Shouldn’t be long for them to dip below 30k. Achingly good looking car for me.

I had a look at the Coupe. Looks great and it feels good to sit in. They are a bit heavy and the V6 never seemed to offer enough power but as a V8 they have a lot going for them.

Standard 340 bhp V6 I needs more the S with 380 was much better. I had a 400 Sport as a loaner for the day when mine was in for a service. It had literally just come if the trNsporter as their demo car and only had 20 miles on the clock. That for me was the perfect F....It Was fast enough, looked great, sounded great and an easier car to jump in and drive than the manic V8......V8 is a beast mind you. ......400 Sport for me was the pick of the range in looks as well......

Saying that BB the V8 can be had for 30k or less as long as you want a drop top. One in white on AT for 29k. Rather like this one at 32k but sure there is a deal to be had with most these days.

Oh they've got some nice stock. I like the Jag, they have a £30k GranTurismo Sport, and for the wealthier a beautiful Lusso (and I'm not normally a fan of white cars).

That’s a lovely spec V8. Amazed anyone spent £94k on an F Type, but it looks like a lot of car for £30k

On a different tack entirely, with some gentle encouragement a BMW 1M is around £30k right now.
Not as pretty as some of the shapes in this thread, but is has similar thuggish vibe to a Maserati Ghibli II. I didn’t want to like it - a Turbo M car?!?! - but by God it’s a little brute. Took the long way to mid-Wales and was late for the evening dinner before the shoot by about four hours. Didn’t even care. This enormous moth seemed to like it too.
There’s also a Z4M in the mix too. The fundamentals - steering rack, engine - are from the M3 CSL, but without the SMG box. Admittedly the manual shift isn’t the greatest but it’s more involving than the SMG. Like the 1M it’s a proper handful (short wheelbase, uncompromising rear suspension) and a Cayman S is a much more honed tool, and much better on track, but as a adrenaline-seeking road car the Z4M is more engaging.
RenaultSport Clio V6 255 is another option, maybe a Jaguar XKR-S? Especially in that lovely French blue...

£30k buys a lot of sexy metal.
