Porsche launched the 964 in the 80's, for me one of if not the best looking 911 series.

ANd one of the most unloved.......And for that reason they are great value......

I was looking for a 993 for while many moons ago and went to loads of specialists and all said that people wanted pre 89 cars or 993 which is why the 864 was great value as it was unloved againts the others............I think that has changed a bit now as prices have gone up but that may be because its getting on and becoming a bit more collectable.....Or maybe good ones are hard to come by now with age.

993 is wearing that shoe these days to me the 964 was THE best incarnation of the breed, RS Light weight is iconic.

Still a Porsche though not much passion built in!

Never driven any RS bit been a passenger and I loved it I must say...Such a drivers car.....

964 RS has shot up in value, one guy who comes to the specialist i worked at bought one for 40k in 2007, spoke to him the other day and has been offered 70k for it. 964 Turbo is another rare model, very sought after.
