Pat could always make a Double whammy of it that weekend , Brooklands on saturday the 1st and Silverstone on the Sunday 2nd , i'll be at both hopefully atleast in one or the other

I'll definitely do Silverstone as the FIA event is a great day out, not sure I'll manage Brooklands on top as well but you never know ...

As i said earlier would be nice if we could all meet up 10 -15 mins away from the track maybe for a mid morning breakfast/coffee , i have tried the Folly near Towcester and unfortunaley they are closed till 12 so how about the Cock Hotel at Stoney Stratford , 1 minute off the A5 7 mins from the M1 they do a lovely breakfast under parasols in the courtyard and plenty of parking in the rear car park ,

Used to visit Stoney Stratford regularly when we lived down that neck of the woods, so it'll be a nice excuse to visit again.

Guys, just confirmed that my friend visiting from Italy will stay at a hotel in Heathrow. If anyone in the area-ish is able to offer him a ride, it'd be great! Enzo's been very kind to offer a lift but it's logistically very difficult.

Nice one Roger , The folly has just come back to me saying they are prepared to open early from 9.30am on Sunday May 2nd for a breakfast/coffee , a good place for a pre race meet up , so as to arrive at Silverstone in convoy and its that bit nearer to the track , (sorry emtee re stoney stratford the folly is nearer) So if everyone is happy with The Folly on the A5 just before Towecester, i'll ring them back and confirm today

Will you be showing your face Robin (Team GCR) at the Folly (sure way folks to make sure the massers win)

Couldn't find anywhere on Silverstones site which stated what the programme schedule was , so i picked a time from thin air that might suit all a little later if we have time is great , the Folly is flexible anyway and are prepared to open especially for us, we are only 10-15 mins max from the track , so ample time to hang about, so as to make it a good photo shoot , i'll keep your egg and bacon hot for you Maurizio , hehe im sure we can communicate by phone on the way up

Just phoned them and moved it to approx 10 am but they will be ready for a quickish turnaround food wise , and if a few are early they will more than cater

We just got to work out how to get your mate , and JP up here

JP can you do the train to MK or get to the beginning of the M1 , im not adverse to a serious Blatt up and down the Motorway but dont really want to hit London Traffic

Cheers Klive,that clarifies things, im sure the other day when i was booking the Folly it said that event times to be decided , well now they are , im still happy make a leisurely day of it and to arrive around 11-11.30, otherwise its a long day at the track and Kaz would get bored .
