If you don't know, you don't know.

I mean who's going to think, lever in the cabin, then button/toggle connected to a rod hidden around the right (when facing the car) headlight frame, balance the bonnet slightly open with one hand and apply pressure to the button/toggle with the other...

It's just so intuitive.

Remember the day I first saw one in Performance Car Magazine I think it was. Feel in love with it. Then saw a fabulous red one on the stand at the British Motorshow and Martin Brundle was being show around it.

Originally they were only available in black or red but the later cars were built to order and additional colours became available.

If this were to go for around €50k, it could be a good buy. Quite a big shout though to bid on Shamal, sight unseen, a few thousand miles away. I know I bought my last two biturbo engined Masers from auction, sight unseen, but they were not at the Shamal price point, and were in the U.K., so a lot less risky. Still, I’ve never been to Poland, and as stated above, it would be an interesting trip back…

To be honest, the drive back would be epic.
My wife was alas unconvinced.
Small matter of a house deposit too

Since being in France I've bought blind twice with no issues.
First Belgium and then Spain and drove back with no problems.

Buy a Ghibli Auto and then drop a 3200 V8 and manual gearbox in.

Asking for a friend…..
