Well McGraths have now sold their mint LHD Shamal which was priced at £85k - good going in the current market but the article below suggests that Shamal values still have a way to go:

I'd say he's way off the mark. Values have gone down since I sold mine for £90k. After that it sold twice, both times for figures closer to £75k.
In fact, all of the interesting Maserati's I've sold over the last 10 years have gone down in value - the Shamal, Ghibli Cup, GS MC-Victory, GT MC-Strad, QP GT S, etc. It's only my Khamsin, a bona-fide genuine classic, that has gone up.
It's perfectly possible to buy a LHD Shamal for noticeably less than USD 100k, so I'd say a valuation of USD 1M is a very long way away.

The McGrath Shamal was/is stunning. I bet the new owner is delighted.
A few years ago Emblem had an equally lovely one (also red and LHD), and when that went for sale it was quickly bought by an Italian and was repatriated.
