Once Prost retired, the rivalry disappeared between them I believe. Senna kept it all on the track, once Prost wasn't on it, he ceased to matter.

Great film, but at my age I was a Mansell fan, didn't appreciate Senna's talent, I just wanted a Brit to win!

Senna is rated usually above the Clarks, Fangios and Mosses of the F1 world simply because all his races were televised in glorious technicolour, you saw every overtake repeated with expert analysis. He was a true great though, with Prost, Mansell, Picquet and Berger on the grid he was still at the top. I think Schumacher would have outdriven him had he lived, it was about to happen with the rise of Benetton. But we'll never know for sure!

Dvd arrived last week and i just finished watching it.

This guy must have been really sad all the time of his short life. He must have felt weak, helpless..At least his eyes tell me so.

I was too young to realise what an @sshole Prost is!!He must be fun to talk, but not to compete.

I think I'd have to put Villeneuve (Gilles, not Jacques) in the top 5 also, tho I didn't see a lot of him...

I attended a business luncheon many years ago (at least 12 years I would guess) where the guest speaker was Stirling Moss.
He was incredibly entertaining.
It sounded like his race days were as much about the girls between races as the racing itself.
Anyway, he rated Schumacher as the best driver he had ever seen.
