Looks nice, French or Italian I'd guess didn't get a chance to have a close look as I was running late, anyone know what it is?

I think you are right when you say French...
Difficult to tell, but the C pillar logo looks a little familiar,

I reckon it's a Moteverdi or Iso something or other. Thought it may be a Bitter, but proportions don't look right.

Bitter is a good shout Mark, I thought I was the only one who knew about them what with my Opel connection.

Well done Mark...It is an Iso Fidia, only 192 produced between 1967 and 1975.

Edit...sorry for dupe...typing at the same time.

It is an Iso Rivolta Fidia, circa 1971/72, so actually Italian. Not one of their most attractive offerings....

From the Wikipedia article...
"The body design was the work of Giorgetto Giugiaro"

I presume that's before he got his eyes tested...after which he went on to pen the 3200, 4200 & Spyder!

I can't get my eyes past the rear passenger windows...they just nag at me. The rest of it looks great! With blacked-out windows it would make a perfect gangster car.

I agree with the rear windows, but it has a lovely bunch of exhausts poking out the back, sits low and looked kind of aggressive. Dare I say I thought it was an early Quatroporte on first glance?!
