Yeah, I know the Sat Nav is rubbish, but I could do with something to fill up the screen....

Seriously, does anyone have discs for France and UK I could borrow. Mine are scratched and my backups have become corrupted....

TIA

Now that Catman's sorted, does anyone have similar disks for a 2006 QP? I'm heading down Le Mans way myself in June.

Can you work the sat nav ? It has got to be the worst one I have ever used! I sat in the car today and thought " this has got to be intuitive" WRONG!

radio is about it and that comes on automatically upon start up!

I will be mostly using my garmin.

I use my iPhone in nearly every Maserati I sit in. They do speed and noise very well but Satnav certainly isn't their strong point!

I've not used the SatNav since my discs are bust. I hear it's dire. I use TomTom in the UK, but need something for France, and the map is comparatively costly for a long weekend....

My Tom Tom packed up last week while I was up in Suffolk on holiday. So, we used the QP unit. It worked pretty well as a back up. (Though that they couldn't incluse full postcode input is poor). Hence my request for the France disks in case the Tom Tom goes AWOL in June

The sat nav in the 4200 I find actually okay.
Used it over the weekend on a couple of hours journey and she spoke when needed, and got us to the door of the hotel.
Yes could have used the sat nav on several phones and the iPad we had with us, but no cables, suction cups, or balancing acts where needed using the 4200 one.
I do find the copy discs I use to have limited life though. I think being CD-R's the laser can have trouble reading them.
