He's not the most charismatic of drivers. Ricciardo should be good at Woking. Mrs MLC is looking forward to seeing him...

Martin, you are quite correct but myself, like many just don’t gel with him.

As a person he has zero charisma and for me, that’s a major part of it.

Vettel, it’s been tough. Touted as the next Shui, he appears not to cope with the pressure. I’ve always liked him.

Saintz is a great driver and DannyRik equally. I look forward to having him at my team...McLaren.

I love his driving and he is my main person I want to win, but I’ll be honest I’m not really into is non-F1 stuff, to the point where I stopped following him on Twitter.

Then again half the field might be into stuff I can’t stand away from the track..

I'm fairly confident that Ferrari will "manage" the performance out of the drivers and the cars as well as they have in recent years, which will be a shame, as I'd much rather see them up near the front and challenging. Their management over the last couple of seasons has been dire at best, with many school boy errors of judgement made, subsequently costing them results. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out next year for a full proper season. I don't think this year, assuming any races actually go ahead, will be particularly indicative of the true performance of any team.

A second hand McLaren has been sold for, get this £60,000,000. Apparently its only had weekend use by one owner, and full factory service history. It has seen some damp weather but it had been lovingly cared for and displayed at its owners premises and until very recently only seen a few demo runs to keep things ticking over. No expense spared.

The car in question is the 1995 Le Mans winning F1 GTR.
Who now thinks that classic/super car prices are going to take a hit?

Other than the fact that he's hungry enough to continue, Vettel's got nothing to prove. Maybe he could/should take a sabbatical from F1 for a while.

Like many on here, I lost interest in F1 about a decade or so ago. Last time I heard a contemporary F1 car was Silverstone sometime in the 2000s and standing on the outside of Becketts, Hamilton was the only driver hitting the rubble strips lap after lap. The first time was watching Jody Scheckter holding off Regazzoni in the Williams to win at Monaco 1979.

Just finished reading a book which bridges the gap rather nicely. I had thought building a car might be a good lockdown project like a few on here, but this is a good read for those of us who will forever dream...70312
