I actually love that it's a ragtop

And correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the Crossfire an SLK underneath...?
It was. A friend had the convertible version way back…He wasn’t a friend after that. I drove it and it was a truly terrible car.

The quantity of DB11 on Autotrader is immense!

For £65k for a 30k example, I could be tempted but too much of a gamble for anything more.

Personally I'd take a Vanquish S over a DB11 any day of the week.

But you're right, used DB11s are plentiful.

Living with the folding metal roof on the Cali and issues that causes with packing. At least with a ragtop going away into its separate compartment there is no change in boot space with roof up or down.

You also don't need the space behind to lower/raise the roof, it's not going to be affected by a faulty parking sensor either. A big improvement.

Although I like it Im not that keen. Prefer the coupe. Was hoping it would be a folding hardtop. Before I got my CaliT I was never bothered about open top but its such an enhanced driving experience with the roof down I think Id miss it now.
I know folding hardtops take space but something more simpe targa-esque, like the 488 spyder would have been better

Think this looks great. I wasn’t sure about the grille like others have mentioned but looks ok in the darker colours and nice to see a piece of design that doesn’t look like every other car (seems rare in modern car design). After years of always opting for convertibles I would now only go for coupes. Getting old obviously, but I’d rarely have the roof down and would want to avoid the additional weight, complexity and reliability downsides of a cab mechanism of any type, that I’d rarely see the benefit of.
