Each place has its own pros and cons. I think the message is to be happy where you are. Sounds like the majority of us are.

That's why we moved out to the "countryside" of Hampstead Heath, Rob. Look out of the bedroom window and there's a mile of trees 'til the next house. Just missing the winding country lanes.

I used to live on South Hill Park (Hampstead) and from our living room you could not see another building, just ponds, heath and trees. Visitors could never believe that was possible in London, and in zone 2 to boot. The best of both worlds.

It's great when you enjoy living where you do, hopefully everyone on here is doing just that. I don't think I will be moving anytime soon..!!
