RIP Tony Dron

A very successful racer but better known to many for his journalism at Motor, Fast Lane, Octane etc. Sadly passed early at 75.
Raced a bit at Goodwood too and won a hat trick of Sussex Trophies.

Sad to hear. I used to like his writing in the classic car mags back in the 80s and 90s.

Raced against him many times in the 90's when I was campaigning a 911 in amateur events, and he was always humorous and generous with his advice, as a very talented driver. Another good one gone too soon!
