So far ... plastic seems very brittle

Plastic seems like a really unsuitable material for a broken grill. Might be ok for a grille, though.

My grill (10 years old) was also very brittle, suffering the UV onslaught from the sun and also a light impact at some stage. Good luck with the repair

I paid £100 from Ebay for the one on my office wall.

Keep looking on eBay etc. They come up fairly often.

Gumtree is a also a good place to look.

I've only been to my office once in the last 2 months and that was to pick up post!
There's plenty of opportunity.
All you have to do is over come the alarm and security system and 3 security doors and it's yours!
