I had a similar experience. I decided I wanted to rent something different and reasonably quick for a long weekend in the West Country. Only problem is, my partner hates flashy cars, so Ferraris and Lamborghinis were off limits. I chose to hire a GT on the basis it was suitably understated and elegant. I reckoned she might forgive me for that. Anyway, I loved it so much that I bought one within a few months. The reason I own a GTS today is because I was going to purchase a ZR1. I wanted to rent one first. We arrived at the rental place and he had no coupes only ragtops. Couldn’t fit luggage in, long but funny story short, they put me in a 2018 GTS for the price of the ZR1. It was like a religious experience. About the 3rd day my wife looks at me and says, you know honey, you never buy anything for yourself. You should treat yourself to a Ratti!
BOOM! Here she is
