Random window moves

Had my 2011 qpV GTS since the summer. Done around 3k miles so it's up to a mere 12k. Kept in garage on trickle charger so it's well loved. However it does a weird thing sometimes.. seemingly randomly I come back to the car to find one of the off side windows down passenger or rear..

Any idea what the cause is? Ive searched here but didn't find any reference to this as a common fault...

All the way down or just a bit?
On my 2009 QP sometimes some of the windows are down about 1/2 cm. I think it may be to do with how long you press the remote locking, but I'm not sure.

That would sound like one of the body computers being a little bit excitable. Clearly shouldn't happen. Is it worth trying to fix? Probably not.

All the way down.
And I need a fix.
When you're in Singapore and the car is in airport parking and cobra call you 5 times a day for 3 days to tell you the alarm
Is going off it's not ideal...

ill read up on The remote. If that is a possibility then maybe it's my fault pressing it wrong...

I'll lay money it's not the remote. If the remote did anything, it'd do it when you left the car, and the alarm would not go off unless someone stuck a hand in....

On the frameless windows they sometimes do this and need a reset. If you put the window all the way up and hold the button for a few seconds and then wind it down and hold it again, the computer relearns the parameters and sorts it out. I don't know if it's the same on the QPV but might be an easy fix if it works.

All the way down.

The week I took delivery of my QP the nearside front window wound itself down a couple of times for no obvious reason. The first time parked outside a restaurant full of diners; 'is that your car alarm?'.

McGrath diagnosed it as a wayward anti-pinch sensor. They fitted a new one under warranty and it's been as good as gold ever since.

Thanks for the ideas folks. I'll reset the windows as suggested and keep my fingers crossed. My Morgan's were prone eiththus kind of issue was kind of hoping that the final iteration of the QP would have had the niggles ironed out though!

Alarm going off with windows open was a result of wind blowing through the car. Really glad it was undercover! If I'd parked elsewhere the interior would have been wrecked!
