You will be happy to hear that the Miura that went over the cliff at the start of The Italian Job was a recreation and not the real deal!I've still got have a mind to find the remains of the Muira, the DB6 but not the Mini's dumped over the edge in The Italian Job.
Still winds my up when the posh Mini drivers are under the rear axles of the Mini's and someone says he's working on the differential, arrrgghh!
I really hate the way the Italian guy calls the Aston (think it was a Volante actually?, DB5?) a "Pretty car"....You will be happy to hear that the Miura that went over the cliff at the start of The Italian Job was a recreation and not the real deal!
Raf Vallone was the cool Mafia Don and it was a DB4 Cab!.............I loved the Fiat Dino'sI really hate the way the Italian guy calls the Aston (think it was a Volante actually?, DB5?) a "Pretty car"....
In the film, England won 2-0 against Italy in Turin, how unrealistic is that?

That was Scotland! 2-0 England at Hampden, was a play off for Euro 2000 I think, Scotland won 1-0 at Wembley but England went though. I was living in Scotland then, and despite England actually going through, the incessant stick I got for that 1-0 defeat was murder......I'm pretty sure at the end of the 90's we beat Italy 2-0 in Italy.
I think Paul Scholes ran the show, scored one and set up the other.

I saw Bolton Wanderers win 2-1 at QPR in a pub in Morecambe. Funny how one can always remember what pub one was in!Having Googled it.
Italy 0-2 England. However, it was in Le Tournoi, the tournament Roberto Carlos scored 'that' goal.
It was held in Paris, which is why I remembered that we wasn't at home and thought we were in Italy.
Scholes did indeed get one and set up Ian Wright for the other.
I could even tell you what pub I was in! (Quilters in Billericay). I was going out with Trevor Brookings business partners daughter at the time.

What did they do with the coach? I'm sure after filming they'd just push it off the edge. They were all just shells apparently, the mini coopers would be worth a sh1t load of money now as well

My Italian Job 2 would be let the gold fall out, let the coach fall over, return ASAP with more cars and collect the gold from the ravine.....
