Oh I know one reason - Aluminium bat
Is another correct answer. The ComBat recently sold at auction for £5K+

Was this the one where the batsman is Holding the bowler's Willey

Oh cannot be Holding is W Indian (I think)
Michael (Whispering Death) Holding is indeed WI.
So played no part in this series and, therefore, question.
Whereas, Willey did play and is part of the answer.

Thanks Johnners - Agnew's Biography is a good read. The Audible even better.
Foreword by Stephen Fry - recounting the time he met Johnners for the first time and being greeted like a long lost friend .... "Fryers"
Thereby convincingly abbreviating my name by doubling its letter-count.

here is one (if I may please) format borrowed from HIGNFY
Odd one out please and why
A Publishing House founded in the 1930's
Radio 1 DJ Mike Jo Pasternak
A well known Greek that had a certain touch
and
Naruhito

Well I have some ideas....
A Publishing House founded in the 1930's - dunno, Penguin?
Radio 1 DJ Mike Jo Pasternak - dunno
A well known Greek that had a certain touch - that has to be Midas
Naruhito - current Emperor of Japan

I think Midas was a king, not an emperor.....
Something to do with Emperor Penguins???

That's the kiddie!
Penguin is the publishing company founded in 1935 and is depicted as an Emperor on their publications.
Emperor Rosko is the Radio 1 / Caroline DJ (ah memories)
King Midas had the touch
Naruhito is the current Emperor of Japan

So King Midas is the odd one out as the others are all Emperors
(I will not entertain King Penguin)

I think Mark has the baton

Ermm thought that might be the answer but as far as I am aware the original Penguin was never described as an Emperor or any other specific Penguin however when Penguin launched hardback books they were called King Penguin.

Now I am not casting doubt on the QM just saying ;)
