For the avoidance of doubt and for the pennant pedants out there the other two countries flags are square (yes I know, technically a square is also a rectangle)

I knew that was coming, hence the pub argument every time this question comes up. It's not so bad if it's early in the evening but late on after a few beers the discussion can get quite heated
