We have a winner! The Ford Capri was in fact initially called Project Carla.

Over to you Zag.

Really?

A bit of research has highlighted that the original Capri was called project Colt as this was considered relevant to it's Mustang heritage. The MKII Capri was project Carla. Not that I am casting doubt on the QMs facts.

A programme on classic Fords on the Discovery channel the other week brought it to my attention. The MKIII was Project Carla.

The Clue (from 60's to 80's) was just to get the right name.

Oops forgot about this I think it's my turn.

So on the theme what car originally had the codename Mosquito, in fact this was going to be it's production name but the company owner didn't like it.

I know I know :happy2:
Perhaps let it run a while though - happy to be a backstop.
Oh no - can't escape that word.

Looking forward to the answer on this as I suspect it will come down to the definition of a rectangle and i have been at many quizzes over the years where this gets debated strongly

Having just driven past the Nepalese Restaurant in Ashford, their flag looks like two triangles stuck on top of each other.
Not got a clue who the others are.

Yes Nepal is one.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the pennant pedants out there ;) the other two countries flags are square (yes I know, technically a square is also a rectangle)
