Thanks for the mention Andy. It’s a cracking car. Owned by @Guy for 18 months, maintained by Matt at Sports Italia, serviced and inspected at Autoshield last week. Outstanding value for someone, as it’s had brakes, has nearly new Michelins on it, and won’t require a service for 2 years. I’ve had 2 interested parties already but neither are quite in the situation to buy it so it’s been listed this morning.

Sure it will not be long before it sells buddy. Sounds perfect.

I think it will be the case of ‘you snooze you lose’ with this one.

Stop it now. We need a daily and I'm getting tempted again!

What a fantastic buy. Makes the other two for sale with the same miles look expensive. Plus as it is Dicky you know you are in safe hands.

If I was in the market for a Sport GTS I'd be all over that!

EDIT: In fact, I'm tempted to sell my 159 and get it! Arrrrghhh!!!!

I'm biased as it was mine and it really is a peach. It drives as though it has 20k miles on it, there is practically no wear on the interior (rear must have only had a few occupants over the years) and the paint is exceptional. I took this pic last month after a polish and wax;

Looks absolutely stunning I think mine was the same colour, only downsides for me are lack of sunroof and black interior but this will be a great buy for somebody and sell very quickly I am sure.

Yes it was. I have your old car now. Agree re the sunroof and personally prefer the mix of leather & alcantara

Each to their own in terms of taste. I would like one in a dark Verde with Cuoio trim but suspect it is a unicorn and, with probably only 20-30 cars left worth owning in the UK, we can't always be so definitive. Personally, I steer clear of sunroofs when I can.

My sunroof got a bit grumpy with me last year. Nothing a good rodding out didn’t solve to put it back in its place.
I do like my sunroof though, but i understand why some prefer not to have one on maintenance grounds.

I have had it a couple of years now and really enjoy it. It had a very decent service history when I took it on and since then it has had Emblem sort all the biggies out (i.e. variators & subframe) plus new brakes etc. There are a few bits and bobs I will get round to sorting, such as some sticky buttons, but it wants for nothing significant.

I must admit to the occassional itch to upgrade to a 4.7 Sport GTS and if I hadn't bought this car, I would have had swooped on the Car Dicky has (or probably had by now) advertised. That said, I can't think they are very different to drive; the chassis set up is the same, ditto 6 pot brakes etc. Yes, the 4.2 is down on power a bit, no, I don't have the switched exhaust and the ZF programming is a bit different. But that's not a lot in the real world and in some ways I prefer the pre-facelift looks, but of course that is highly subjective.

The unicorn thing is spot on; these are all pretty rare. I don't suppose a 4.2 Sport GTS will ever be as sought after as the 4.7, but I'm hoping that a well sorted and cherished one will still be a desirable thing if I ever decide to sell it!
