Thanks, but as per my last post the Parrot is still plugged in anyway.Leave it for a couple of weeks see if the stereo behaves itself and if you decide to reconnect Parrot etc and the problem returns well then you know wot you have to do.
However I do have another update, yesterday the problem had returned but I found that after switching the stereo on and off 4-5 times it rectified itself and worked fine. And again today exactly the same - i.e. when I had parked the car up it was working fine, but today the problem returned however after 4-5 times switching the NIT on and off it worked fine and did so for the duration of my 1.5 hour journey.
All very odd … but if I can consistently work around it by switching it off and on multiple times then that’s fine by me!
