Hi All

I have a 2016 qp6 GTS - I also have a 3 year old … the two for the most part mix perfectly and it’s a great family car however…

3 year old has discovered the door lock button and the other day managed to press it so often it stopped working - with him inside and me outside

Key fob wouldn’t work and I had to use the physical key turned in the lock to get the door open - thanks god I had the keys in my pocket

Is there any way to disable this button?

Does the rear window disable not do the locks also? Previous cars of mine have done this. If not, maybe there is an option in the radio.

Can't see that as an option anywhere.

I think if you temporarily connect the surfaces of the buttons to the 12v supply in the car, your child will quickly learn not to touch the buttons.

I wonder if you could simply disconnect the switch by unplugging it, or would that throw up an error.

That was my earlier thought Sam. May screw up the central locking though. Worth a try for peace of mind or gaffer tape their hands maybe?
