Hi, I have recently purchased a 2007 QP V 4.2 ZF with 19" wheels. I would prefer the 20" wheels but my wheels have new tyres and have had a refurb. I want to lower the car and add spacers. Please advise the best springs and spacers to purchase and your experiences with these. Thank you, stay safe.

Sorry! That sounds a bit of a harsh response to your first post. Only teasing - you go for it!

H&R do qp springs and lower 20mm all round. Or Formula dynamics if you want to pay more! Same for spacers. I would lower first and then measure space left.

Personally I see nothing wrong with the QPV as it is, I have 19's and for me they suit best. Just wish it would stop quicker, can u add six pots to the front? Same discs?

Larger diameter needed I would think.. Zep is your brake man.

I'll chase!

Get in to Mrs Wanderer's Nissan Micra and touch the brake and I'm nearly through the windscreen. QP5 stops ok not nothing nowhere like that....

Put GTS springs on it. I did with my 4.7S and it transformed the handling and made it look great on 20s. Plus they were not silly money surprisingly

Do I owe you a reply? The short version is that you will need bigger discs (either std or bigger) as well as calipers (either OEM or you can have aftermarket 6 pots). It’s all about the ratio of the master cylinder to the pistons. You can increase the diameter to increase leverage and therefore improve pedal response.

I was going to go h&r and they are 450ish with the 20mm drop. Are gts more in £ and same drop? I will have yo check eurospares I guess.

I believe they were about that price. In terms of the drop, I couldn’t tell you specifically, but a GTS looks great on 20s and mine looked the same.

Just consider that riding lower means you will be re-siting your exhaust more often. Speed bumps? Forget it!

This is my QP, it just sits to high at the back for me. I'll buy the H&R springs, fit them and then look for spacers, Cheers

I put the 20s on, and lowered on FD springs and antiroll bars
Ive got my spacers delivered this week to go on also. Were from Superforma, 20mm front and 25mm rear.
