And some one else looked at this one as well as Dean and walked away. The forum car for me is a better colour combination as well. All that black inside with no alcantara and contrast stitching isn't as nice and the door handles inside has the paint peeling. Buying on of these is more about condition and history rather than miles and year. A privately owned forum car can be much better than a dealer car who aren't a specialist and don't really know these cars. Warranty or not as some of these warranties ain't worth the paper they are printed on.

As far as book price of these you can ignore especially webuyanycar as there are never more than two or three of this model for sale and that seems to dictate the asking price.

So, the Rapide. What can I say. Love the GTS, however the Rapide is a definite step up as the gearbox is so so good. It is the 8 speed touchtronic III version. The noise is also spot on - the honest truth is the GTS is too loud when in sport mode in London. Legendary out of town in the open road though. And the residual in the Aston.... I will be paying Kia money in terms of monthly payments

Congrats on the new car, hope your QP GTS finds a good home. The Rapide has started to look better and better to me as time passes. My neighbour had one when they first launched and I remember thinking it didn't look quite right back then.

It's funny you say the GTS is too loud, my four year old is in a phase of complaining, the latest of which is 'daddy, can you please close the valves?' haha

all kidding aside how does the Rapide S feel at London speeds? I find the GTS doesn't feel that great crawling around at 10-15mph in SW/W London. once it's got some space to move it feels sublime

I’ve been looking at the Rapide S and especially the 8 speed facelift you are getting. At £70-80k you get a lot of car. The only downside for me was rear seat access through the narrow sill especially as my kids are now bigger than me. Nice choice though!

London speeds are good. To make room for 8 gears they have compressed gears 1-6 which is why box is so good. My kids are 5 and 3 and they fit in car well. Older taller kids will be tougher. QP has tons of room

Perfect kids age for a Rapide. Enjoy!

The Rapide is a step up as you say. Sounds like you are smitten. What's the spec etc of yours.....Had a gander at a few at Dick Lovett in Bristol this morning and they have certainly aged well and seem far more appealing now then when they came out. They had a AMR version there to......a bit mean looking that one....Yellow stripe and all.

Rapide S grey with cream quilted seats. Yes quite excited about the new toy. I’ve seen the AMR version too. Very aggressive looking. Only made 200 worldwide apparently. But buying these new is subjecting yourself to serious serious depreciation...

OP are you in Belfast? I know that showroom because that's where I bought my GT S a few years back!

I would love to see the car in person.

Sorry, I’m in North London but bought from Belfast (although it has spent its life in Essex then London).

The pictures do the car justice but mileage is about 5-10k too much as I would want my next one to be a keeper.
