Problems after a low battery

I haven't driven my QP V 2009 in circa 9 weeks. This morning I tried to start the engine and the engine wouldn't start and there was clicking from the ignition. I assume the lack of use caused a low battery. I plugged up a 10A charger to the battery (which is a top of the range 2y old one) for a few hours. The engine started fine and no problems.

However, the driver's airbag red warning light stays on and bizarrely all electrics in the front passenger door are dead (no electric window, no electric door opening - only the mechanical outside method) and not even an LED for the alarm.

I have tried disconnecting the negative on the battery to reset things and the problem persists. There were no problems before the low battery.

Any ideas?

I reckon either the loom to the door is damaged or the plug has corroded. Have a look at the rubber covered wiring from pillar to door.

Already did that - it looks fine. I should add I drove it twice yesterday for about 5 miles each time (after the 9 week break) and all was fine, including the left windows. I am 99% sure the left door issue is a result of the dead/low battery.

My battery has been off about three weeks while I checked trickle charging and how long it held charge. Seemed A-OK, slapped it on, both lid didn't auto-catch, soft-touch doors latches not working, sunroof confused, started up, set the sunroof, when for a drive, all fine, every thing else started working.

Cant honestly say these set-up routines work for me, apart from the sunroof one, it all starts working after a trip by itself....

I’d start checking fuses. Low volts means high current which pops fuses. The airbag light should reset itself providing there isn’t an underlying fault.

Mine had been in storage for a couple of years before I bought it. Even with a fresh battery it took a couple of weeks for all the electrical gremlins to sort themselves out. Its like the car had to relearn everything again from scratch! From the locks to door handles to gearbox kickdown.

Both fuses are fine (they are F48 and F65 from memory) that control the passenger door.

The underdoor lighting works when the door is open and the LED on the sill work. However the passenger electric mirror, electric window and outside electric door handle do not work.
