Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone has had the above error code ?

My car is still under warranty, the dealer claimed that the build up of carbon in the seccondary air intake is a maintenance issue, from being driven too lightly !

has anyone successfully been down this path with thier maserati dealer and had it fixed ?

Intake I didn't even know there was more than one

Sounds more like one of the valves have failed or there's a leak somewhere but hopefully an expert will be along soon.

What are the symtoms?

It’s a very common system used on everything from BMWs to Volvos and most use the same pump and valves. I’ve never heard what your dealer came out with before. In most instances it’s the valve that fails which then usually causes the pump to go too.

The system only works for a small period at start up.

I’d get a second opinion or at least want to know how they’ve come up with their diagnosis.
