Just popped down to the river bank today to take some pics of the M5 as gave her a good clean on Sunday...Thought I would share a few with you Adam......

Adam it's Le Mans Blue....M5 only colour I believe

i will go for that, plus add a Lotus group to that as well, perfect for me and AndyK. hope that last bit doesn't sound wrong.

Pre face lift that one.....Look at the lights then look at the front lights on mine...But mine is also a 2000 preface lift but upgraded as the later lights look better. Mine has 57k on the clock so not much more than that.......Price is a little optimistic, but then good ones are hard to find....

Thanks Maf260.....God just as well Matt doesn't look as we could have have a strike for that one....The thing is there are so many great cars to try before I die and not enough time.

yours is a good one then and not a 120K snotbox but you can tell yours is a gooden by looking at the pics. have you read what i have posted on the llandow track day thread, you seen my proposed track cars i would like if to take if i had past my test.

Also Andy, the location where you took pics of your M5, have Evo magazine used that as a phot spot before? this image rings a bell.

oy oy andy im hurt, i love bms, only a bmw would get me away from the italian, m3 e30 or m3 e90, but i had an m5 like yours for 4 weeks while a friend of mine went away and wanted me to sell it for him, glad you got one as i want to ask you, does it feel the same power as the maser? i went 1k in 4 weeks i was thinking it was the same, went from car to car but could not separate

Dem the E90 is not a real M car, it is soul less and looks relativly boring, the interior is drab, it may be an excellent car but it is no CSl, the CSL is the last real M car with great looks and a sound track to die for, and the new M5 is having a V8 Turbo engine, well i am put off new M cars for ever now. For me, the E90 just doesn't cut the mustard, sorry.

e90 is the best since the e30 and the csl, let me tell you something, i have a neighbour with one and my friend has the convertible, i drove it back from west when he was p.i.s.s.e.d, and i loved it, get a white one with dsg your laughing, and girls were staring when we arrived and left the club, its no italian but with v8 its now the best newish car on the road , they going for £27k thats a bargain for a 2 year old car

i respect it's capabilities and as i mentioned earlier it is a great car, but to me soul less, i am not a fan of the modern BMW's since the E60 M5, BMW have gone downhill with all the models, the 3 series, unless it is an M3 it is so boring i could fall asleep looking at it, new 5 series, looks like a 3 series but about 6 inch longer and the 7, well that is a dog. An E90 M3 for under 30K is a bargain, there are not many better ways of spending 30K but i would rather have the CSL. Just love it.

Yeah they maybe better than Audi but are still dull to look at unless in M form but so are it's rivals so you cant win. i just dont think BMW are the same as they used to be, my dad owned a Black E46 330 CI convertible and it was a great car, looked the business and sounded the business, but my favourite BMW generation is the E46. These are great value for money.

thses cars are expensive adam, if its not dsg then manuals aint worth having, they under £29k dsg is £32k
