Concorde was good, but it took a lot to beat a Vulcan.
Ive heard a few roar , and the last one flying I believe around Althorp somewhere , gave me a great lunchtime display whilst taking a smoko some years back , It was actually thundering quite close and you could smell the burnt fuel in the air as it pulled to gain height

Had a few of them some good some bad , including an absolute mint 72 series 3 124 sport , fantastic bit of kit and wish i had it now ...do they love that high rev band

There's one near me which I've got my eye on if it ever comes up for sale, it's mint too. Also looking at S2 Alfa Spiders and Fulvia Coupes again. It never ends!

That was a fair few years ago when XH 558 did a farewell tour; we saw it at Middle Wallop. A Vulcan was the first aircraft I ever marshalled when I came out of training.
