It’s just so implausible. But having a deeper look. That article is from 2021. If you google for it the earlier photos seem to be on Facebook and are titled “WRC Paraguay” That’s a new one!!?? Where as looking for him with that number in a Corolla comes back as the Trans Chaco and there’s no mention of him in that event doing that. In fact there’s no photos at all of “that incident” until about 8 years after the rally.

Loads of stuff is doctored. Here is one I posted. 1976 Japan GP. Took me a long time to decide that it was a real photo and not from Rush or a computer game. What do you reckon made me think it was faked? It’s actually a real photo that has been changed for a modern publication.

My first Alfa was a Sud Sprint, what a car, bought it brand new, navy blue with tan interior. But it rusted badly so I traded it in for the GTV. I still have dreams of buying another Sprint, a very much under estimated car.
