Haha..............If it was a Lotus or even a 1600E your off the hook!

No Lotus variants but MK2 1600E, a MK3 2000E & 2000GXL and a MK4 2.0S were the highlights, as he had a new one every 18 mths from 1969 there were a lot of 1.6L & GLs amongst these. When the Sierra came out he moved up to Granadas as he hated the jelly mould shape and then we had a few of those all V6 versions 2.3 & 2.8 finally ending up with a 2.8i Ghia X Pack Estate

Never mind rich.
Don't think we were ever Rich not like some of the people in his circles but through being in the Motor Trade always had Cool cars and Fun times.
Me and my twin brother missed over a weeks schooling for the 71 RAC rally just had to do a write up and show our memoribilia to the class.
Good Times indeed.

We skived off to go to Sweet Lamb to see McRae and Burns in 1997. It was the year McRae and Makinnen were neck and neck going into the last round. They reckoned about 100,000 people had mysteriously developed illnesses that day.

Wet windy cold forests was norm for us in November might have pulled the odd sicky on a Monday at college or early work years.

Mates Dad was an accountant but he wasn't boring in his car choice, MGB GT V8, Dolomite Sprint, Lancia Beta, Audi Quattro and Subaru Impreza but after that he went boring and had loads of boring Japanese boxes Carina, Accords etc.

No idea of the location but got to love a Series 2 XJ although personally that Series 1 with the row of rocker switches across the dash takes some beating from a look point of view but operationally flawed
