that's an impressive bay, carb set up and 170 mph to speed
My Old Man used to claim he could break a person's neck in the passenger seat due to the rapid acceleration of the thing.
Wild banter but I went in so e rapid stuff as a kid.
At that time he had four sons me the eldest and the only one fascinated by the Motor Trade so I spent a lot of time with him and ended up where I did.

4 Webers with trumpets! I bet that needed regular set up to get near the 400hp! Back in the days where Italian horses were not so large I suspect but not too much weight to carry around either and 205 section tyres would have made it interesting. Scary average fuel consumption (15mpg claimed) for something so small. I wonder how many are left?
Here is one

Try these people, know their stuff and can come to you if you're not too far away, took care of setting up a pair of triple choke webers for me

Only 2 'interesting' cars whilst in London. The first one was new Rolls, not sure if it was Phantom or the other one (I am not up on R Royce) Anyway it was beautiful. The owner a nice chap let me sit in it.
As I opened the door starlight illuminated the roof. Some may say tacky but I loved it.
The seats were just so comfortable. He did not want me to take a picture so I agreed.
The second car was this little gem. Apologies for the picture it was dark and rainy and my 'phone not the best. Parked up outside our Hotel
